Kurt G. Schmidt is the author of the YA novel “Annapolis Misfit” and a coming-of-age memoir that was a finalist in a Bread Loaf creative nonfiction competition. His essays in Eclectica Magazine are excerpts from a road-trip memoir, a European odyssey that inspired him to become a writer (see “Links”). His parenting essays have appeared in the Bacopa Literary Review, The Good Men Project, Parent Co, Grown and Flown, and Your Teen Magazine. Other essays have appeared in The Ravens Perch, Snapdragon, and the “Adelaide Literary Awards Anthology.”
